Our story starts in 1914 with the arrival of Charlie (Papou) and Orania from Greece, opening their first chocolate shop and soda fountain in Pittsburgh, PA.

 J. Charles is a family name carried by every generation of our family, upholding hard work and our dedication to quality food for your family.
